I got my hair cut and styled here. It was in a nice location and had a nice atmosphere and, for the most part the staff seemed friendly except for my stylist. At the end of my appointment my hair was not cut as short as I had wanted it which is okay but the biggest red flag for me that my hair was flat ironed and styled without any heat protectant in it. ud83dude41 This really upset me because that’s a lot of damage on two years of growth and I try to keep my as hair healthy as possible. It also left my hair smelling a bit burnt. All-in-all I just did not feel like the service was very professional or that I got what I paid for.
Salon J did our hair and makeup for our wedding. Our hair stayed in place and our makeup was still in place at the end of the day! Everyone was very happy and they made us look beautiful! Very professional and they girls were fun to be around!
I was recommended to come here by a friend of mine and she highly recommended Ashley. I was hesitant about trying somewhere new because I have trouble finding stylists who know how to do ethnic hair correctly. Ashley listened to my concerns and even convinced me to trim my ends a little. She even informed me that she is working towards expanding her knowledge on working with ethnic hair and that made me very happy to know she cares enough about her clients to expanding her training and knowledge. I definitely recommend Salon J and Ashley.

Love Salon J! Ashley does an amazing job cutting and doing exactly what I want- I just had highlights to cover my gray and it turned out so pretty ! The staff is friendly & knowledgeable- so glad I found them!!!
