Kimmel Park Play Area

Great little park on the river. Mostly shaded with picnic tables and grills. They have a brightly painted Merry-go-round! There is also a baseball field with a few bleachers behind the backstop & a play structure.

I love this place purely because of the merry go round. It really just hits. There is a good energy, and all around good vibe to the park.

I love a block from the park. It is a nice park right on the Santiam river. Highly recommend you check it out if your in Mill City.

Nice clean little park would like to start a campaign to raise money to repair tables they are in bad shape, i could chip in $100.00 to get started and maybe $100.00 from time to time if other Mill City citizens of Mill City would help match me until we had enough to get the job done.

We come here all of the time. They have great covered areas for get togethers. One is overlooking the river, while the other is closer to the play area. The playground is updated and lots of fun for the kids. They also have a horseshoe pit for public use. Kimmel Park has bathrooms that are cleaned and maintained regularly. Linn County Sheriff's Department patrols the area often so our community is safe. Very well kept park. Great place to spend a day with family. We have Birthday parties here every year. There are also Community events that take place here.
