Elkhorn Valley Recreation Site

This is one of the crown jewels of camping in Oregon. Close enough to anything you want to do, far enough away from everything else. It's quiet, beautiful and the camp hosts for -years- running have all been very agreeable if not a bit eccentric.

River was inaccessible to small children and disabled due to incline.nnThe pit toilets were the most disgusting I've ever smelled. Nearly vomited every time we had to use them. That alone really makes us question whether we want to return.nnThere was nice shade though and campsites at least we're clean and many were somewhat private.

Nice and neat, campsite are for 2 medium size tents. Super clean restrooms and accessible with lights.
