East Slope Park

Great part with play structure, basketball, exercise stations, and a paved walk along the water. Plus ducks and geese!

Peaceful and Serene. Sit and gaze at the water. Nice play structure for kids. Everything is very clean and well kept.

Personally I like this place because of its location and how it is kept nice however it has been there for a long time and has changed over the years but something that has not changed is the fact that it has horseshoe pits although they are not built to regulation and are not even kept in good condition or maintained I have offered to rebuild them on my own dime and on my own time to the city of Toledo but have not gotten any further response I would really like to make themnusable and regulation the way I see it doing so would only make the place better and definitely wouldn't hurt

Nice park lots of birds

I walk to this park several times a week. A flock of geese resides there all year long. It's fun to see the baby goslings just after hatching swimming behind there mamma's. There is one very large goose he's been there for years and swims with the Canadian Geese. I make a honking sound over and over till the geese all head my way. I know feeding the wildlife is a no no but I give them bread.
