Tall Sycamore Campgrounds

Nice campground. Spaces are not too bad (size wise). Sites along the river is pretty much (if not all) permanent or annual trailers. Recently under new management and they are planning to do updates to the park. They currently have it decorated for Halloween and are planning events for Halloween. On Saturday morning they had free donuts & hot chocolate in the community center. We did not visit the restrooms so can't comment on that. Staff and campers all seemed very friendly and polite. Only real negative is that it is only about 1/4 mile (if that) from a railroad track and crossing, so you get the train noise and whistle occasionally.

Great place to camp. First time here and everything went well. Stayed in the primitive sites on a motorcycle and there was plenty of available spaces. Nice and quiet for the most with the exception of the freight trains that pass along frequently. Might be a deal breaker for some but I still had an enjoyable stay. Bathrooms where clean and air conditioned. Would definitely return. Make sure you can get in before nightfall so you can check in before the office closes.

I just spent 2 months at this campground and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed every night here on the Wabash River! Nice and quiet, family friendly, and the Saturday events were always fun! There are some seasonal s but it’s kept clean and folks here are super friendly! A swimming pool, 2 playgrounds, tents allowed, church on Sunday (if interested), laundry facility, and a clean shower house! I made some good friends and I highly recommend this campground over any other in the area!

My husband and I stayed for a couple months. It's a great place right on the Wabash River. The incoming manager Brenda was super friendly, accommodating and made us feel at home. It's a great atmosphere with activities if you wish to participate or just relax at your camper. No pressure! Met some great people. We hope stay there again soon. ud83dudc9c❤

Very pleasant place...love the river...train ya is loud...but I'd go back for sure...very clean and people are oh so friendly
