Lancaster Covered Bridge

Beautiful place to visit.

Not much of a river bank area and narrow parking but it was made up for by being the most scenic of a few bridges we saw that day. There's a sign that states the various construction stages but we were lucky enough to meet the owner of the adjacent property who knew the history of every board and beam in the bridge!

Cool old covered bridge!

Cool historical bridge not far from my home. It is a self-serve type of experience with just the bridge and a plaque telling about the original building and several renovations of the bridge. The only drawback I could see from the side of the bridge I stopped at were the no trespassing signs put up by the property owners on both sides of the road abutting the bridge to the south of the creek, did not see any to the north.
