Taft 48 Beach Access

The parking lot to the beach is probably one of the easiest accesses on the oregon coast. The city keeps on top of clearing any driftwood that accumulates from storms. Watching the river enter the ocean is always a blast and it seems that seals are always fishing in the river which is a blast. It's also a great beach to find agates at low tide. About a half mile north on the beach is an amazing amount of driftwood which people have built giant forts and you could spend the day adding rooms, levels of just relax in.nThey also have a great covered fire pit at the parking lot to warm up after a cold winter day. Every time I've walked past it, it has had a good flame going. So bring a log back with you and toss it on.nAfterwards you could get an ice cream from Eleanor's undertow or some gross food from Mo's.

My favorite beach in Lincoln City... crabbing and beachcombing keep bringing me back.

Easy access. Grate view. Lots of parking. Not very much in the way of beachcombing. Picked pretty clean but it's a beautiful stroll nonetheless around the point towards Spanish Head. Enjoy. Dont turn your back on the ocean.

Beautiful day

The place where Siletz Bay meets the sea. Dynamically beautiful scenery that never fails to amaze me. Plenty of wildlife here including a mating pair of eagles and osprey.
