Roads End State Recreation Site

This large swath of beautiful beach is only rivaled by the ocean before it. Easy to park at, easy to walk down to. Not wheelchair friendly by any means but still relatively accessible. I found this to be a great place to enjoy a long walk along the coast. The logs strewn about make perfect benches, and fire circles from nights past litter the landscape. Windy but beautiful!

The road ended.

This is a nice place to walk the beach, play in the surf, or fly a kite. It's been very busy over the last 3 weeks, and last weekend (August 16th, 2020) was positively insane with nowhere to park for a mile in any direction. There's a nice beach on the other side of the rocks on the north end. Sometimes that beach has agates galore, and other times it's nothing but sand. Use great caution getting there, because at high tide it can be deadly.
