D River State Recreation Site

Great beach, easy access.

Had a great time here. Had a bonfire, lunch and dinner during our stay. We only had to walk across the street to see the amazing sunset, listen to the crashing of waves and took a stroll down by the water. Everyone was respectable and gave distance. We met a cute little family and made s'mores with kids as they warmed up by the fire. Amazing spot for pictures. The locals were very nice and helpful for recommendations.

It's the ocean, what's not to love about it.

Always a pleasure to be here even though we're bundled up. Always friendly people. There is always a constant cold breeze on the beach that you don't get in the parking lot. Part of the family (4 legged) friendly beach.
