Tasty Pizza is really something special. Not only is the food genuinely delicious, but the prices are fantastic too. (You can feed the whole family for under 20 dollars if you keep the pizzas simple.) It's been an institution on the south side for as long as I can remember and it's got to be my favorite pizza joint in the city. Don't get me wrong, the place is by no means fancy, and the staff can be a little gruff sometimes, but that just adds to the charm of the place. If you're ever in the area, give them a try and I gurantee you won't regret it.

Tasty Pizza is by far a hidden gem of the South side. Bored with pizza hut, tired of Little Caesars, afraid of Domino's, disgusted by Pappa John's? Tasty Pizza is your answer! Real, better, authentic toppings in the hands of masters. Tasty Pizza should be known city, nah, county, nah, State wide!
Tasty pizza is my default pizza joint. They blow the budget/mid price competition (pizza hut, Papa John's, dominoes, Mamma Mia's) out of the water.nnTheir sauce has good tomato taste/Tang without giving me heartburn. Their toppings are pretty generous and the hand tossed crust has both crisp and chew to it. On top of that, it is way less greasy than a lot of pizza. They also turn them out relatively quickly.nnAdd in that we've had nothing but great service in the 15ish times we've had pizza from them, Tasty is the undisputed first choice. The only place in town with better pizza (for my money) costs 2x as much.
Delicious pizza, at a great price. This is my go to place!
