On my visit to the coast this weekend my tire caught a rough edge of a curb and I ruptured it. I have put on a spare tire myself and recognized that the pressure in the spare is low. So I was delighted to notice Les Schwab across the street from my location so I drove up to the garage door still open and two mechanics still in the bay. I have asked if they could top the air pressure in my spare as I was out of town and had to face return trip home this evening. I was told that they are done for the day. I told them that I understand it but I am really in a need of help and it will only take a minute. They still refused any help. I was told that the compressor is turned off. Well if only turning a compressor required boiling water to generate steam I would understand it. But turning of electrical switch is not labor intensive and in likelihood the pressure was still in the tank and all they needed to do is actually try to help. I guess all the commercials for this company where they claim to be your neighborly helpful place are just that: commercial only with no merit.

They have always taken good care of me. I will go there to get a pre-trip safety check before a long trip. It always makes me feel better to know they have looked my car over. They have excellent customer service. They know how to keep their customers coming back and happy.nUPDATE: Yet just recently I went to have my brakes checked and was told that all of my brakes needed changing at an exorbitant price. I was told that I could not just change out the brake pads, that it was a package deal that included changing the rotors as well. I opted for a second opinion at Gerber's tires. They checked my brakes for free and told me that they still had 50% of the pad there and that I didn't need a brake change. Hmmm, made me wonder about how reliable the estimate was from Les Scwab.

Awesome fast service. We dropped my car off, had enough time to go for breakfast. Replaced my tires, they made it so simple and stress free!

We just bought tires from Les schwab in Ontario Oregon, right before we came to the coast. We wanted our tire pressure checked . So pullex in here. The guy tried to tell us we needed new tires.nI wont go back .
