Lincoln City KOA Journey

Rating the campground itself, I'll give it 4 stars. This is our 2nd year in a row coming here and I'll admit, the camp sites for tents are pretty small with no room for privacy between each site. What made me give this place 5 stars is the staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole place was well maintained and very clean, including the bathrooms and showers. I have to give extra kudos to the staff running the small on-site restaurant called Mel's Kitchen. They serve a wide array of delicious breakfast items every morning, and they go out of their way to serve good BBQ on the weekends. Check out their mac and cheese! We'll definitely be back again in the future!

Loud from all the cars that drive up and down the road and in the park Mels diner has some very good biscuits and gravy reasonably priced as well

It's a very cute campground and the workers are VERY nice however just know if your getting a tent site they are very small and there is no space between you and your neighbors, there is a good chance your tent will be within a few feet of each other. Unfortunately the night I stayed a lot of the tent campers were snorers and considering how close we were to each other I could very clearly hear multiple people snoring throughout the entire night. I was definitely expecting more space considering how much more camping cost here vs a state park.

I was able to park my rig this well because of an experienced employee at the park, Charles. Awesome guy and all I had to do was listen and trust he knew what I had to do. Quiet and peaceful park. Wife and I will return here for another trip, stay longer and explore more.

Good breakfast. They make it very difficult to rent a cabin, but a tent spot was no problem. Don't go if you like any sort of privacy at all. But the breakfast was good. Oh and just out of eyesight, behind the creek is garbage. But it looks pretty clean at a glance.
