Devils Lake RV Park

We have stayed here several times in the past. Always great. My husband loves it here. This time I book in early June for end of July. I was told I would get an end spot, more $ but that’s all they had. I verbally confirmed it would be an end spot at the back of the park. These spots have it to where you open your door, step out and you have a little grass area to sit and have a fire pit. It was confirmed. We get here. We are given space 68. In the very front. It’s an end but in order to use it, it’s on the opposite side of our door. And we have LITTLE access at our door. Narrow stretch of loose gravel. At this spot if we do want to constantly walk on the opposite to sit we get to watch every single vehicle enter/exit ALL day long. Right at the check in area. You get all the road noise, and they are building a wood shed just outside our site. Feel like I’m in a fish bowl in this spot. If you come here make sure you confirm your space and don’t take space 68. When you arrive they have already run your credit card so there’s no turning back. Glad we are only here two nights. My bad! Won’t do this again!

Love living here. Just wish they had more light at night for walking dogs, but a ud83dudd26 helps with that

Moved in March 1 as a full time resident with open end date of 12/31/2021, although that can be shortened with 30 day notice. This fits with my plans for a home base with trips w/o rig although covid 19 has put caution into plan.nShore is within 1 mile with miles of beachnTillamook is 40 mi north, Newport about 25 miles south and Salem 40 mi east. PDX is 90 mi and 90 to 120 minutes northeast. Plenty of hiking trails as well as lakes and rivers.nFor gamblers, Chinook casino is close by and offers a shuttle door to door.nPark is well maintained and staffed by great people.

This is a quaint and good- looking park.

Nice place, seemed very calm.
