Poor customer service. Little boy worker refusing to take care of the guests. Very complaining & controlling he is. I do not recommend this place. No one else offered to resolve situation well in the establishment either. Just stared at me. Trying to get the food for take out was a hassle. Plus always long wait.
Great food! Especially notable is the large array of South Indian food -- rare among Indian restaurants in the U.S.nUpdate, during the Nov. 2020 lockdown: Evergreen continues to be wonderful. The thalis include a wide range of food; takeout masala dosas require assembly (being filled with potato curry as usual would make them soggy), but are nonetheless great; the owners are friendly and efficient. Another excellent dinner tonight!
Amazing food and splendid service! I recommend it to anyone. It's a little pricey, but totally worth it.
The food looked really good, but tasted over salted or too sweet and not enough seasoning. We went to the buffet and the table wasn't bussed once. The staff was nice but they didn't ask if we would like drinks. ud83dude43ud83dude1e
When we first moved to Eugene from Chicago (a veritable hub of fantastic, authentic Indain cuisine) we were pretty disappointed with the quality of Indian dishes served at other restaurants here. Evergreen was the third place we tried, and we only go here now! I'd definitely say it's the highest quality in Eugene, so it comes close enough to what we were used to in Chicago. The service can be slow, especially on the weekends, but the wait staff is very nice and the food is delicious. We have only come for dinner hours, so I can't speak to the lunch buffet experience, but I'm sure it's pretty good as well.
