Normally, this is a great bike path, but the homeless problems currently happening alongside it and on it, along with bike thieves and graffiti artists make it unsanitary and not safe feeling, especially for children with families. It's become a sad place.
Beautiful late summer sunset. Community Gardens I full bloom. Crickets & tree frogs singing.Children whistling and playing of in the distance. Glorious. Thankful for this moment. Right here right now.
Its title is Fern Ridge Bike Trail .It follows along Amazon Creek .Miles of a long stretch of concrete curving and meandering traversing a unique part of Eugene.Most of what I've seen has lights above the Amazon creek has water flowing thru often Blue Heron, wild ducks,Nutria squirrels and butterflies dragonflies and very large carp.There are areas along the bike path or jogging path.Its common to see joggers and bicyclists along the route.Bring your own drinking containers there are no water faucets some trash receptacles and benches .
