I can't say enough positive things about this company! From my first phone call with Dawn (co-owner), to our final walk through with Timothy (head painter), Saylor Painting Co was the epitome of professionalism and quality. The were communicative throughout the entire process, checked in with us regularly to see how we were liking the work, and they started and ended the project 100% on schedule!!! They did such a beautiful job on our house, and the entire process was a refreshing and stress-free experience. This was the BEST home update experience we have had in our 8 years of owning our home.

Saylor recently refinished our kitchen cabinets which were needing attention after 25 years of use. Prior to beginning the project I had a thorough understanding of the process, my options, the time frame and expected cost. The project was completed on time, on budget and according to my requests. They did a remarkable job. It is like having all new kitchen cabinets and I know this finish will last for many years.nnBased on my experience, I highly recommend Saylor Painting.

Saylor just finished painting the exterior of my house. WOW!!!nFrom the first phone call to schedule a quote through the finished job was nothing but professional. They kept me informed regularly to let me know when they would start, showed up every single day on time and worked tirelessly. Their attention to detail is phenomenal. My front door needed special attention having sun and water damage. I was given options on how to restore it and it looks new. I also had a window sill with some dry rot that they restored. My house looks new! I highly recommend Saylor and definitely think they are probably THE best painting company in Eugene! Thanks to all of you at Saylor Painting!

Yay Saylor Painting!nBravo.nWell done.nPraise, kudos and plaudits!nAnd, lots and lots of gratitude.nA “wood care specialist” put Log Cabin Syrup, aka stain on our smooth cedar siding houses. It was sticky. It stayed sticky. It produced a glare when the sun hit it! We had to have it removed.nnSaylor happily agreed to strip and stain the houses, which most everyone else would not even attempt.nnThank goodness for Saylor.nnEach of them was intelligent, curious, knowledgable, patient, transparent, hard working, efficient, tidy, and easy to have around. (Craig, Thomas, Timothy, Janelle, Dylan, Scott, Marty, Dawn and Ron)nWe hit a wall on choosing a stain. As long as we were paying to get the siding to bare wood, we wanted the two houses to blend in with the trees. We sampled about 10 stains. They were too orange or the greys looked lavender or blue.nWe started looking at Lifetime Wood Treatment, an organic product which turns cedar a soft gray brown to get natural aging off to a more even start.nnSaylor Painting asked all the right questions. Thomas pushed back with concerns all of which we needed to hear. Thomas was analytical and discussed it with other painters. Thomas and the two of us carefully sampled and experimented with the product for a best approach forward.nnWe were not told what they would do. They worked with us.nnWe all agreed to take this adventure together.nnSample stripping of four products ensued to choose best stripper.nnContracts were written (Time and Materials for stripping and prep since this was a new venture. Fixed price for application of product since this was straight forward.)nnThe final bill was more than fair. We truly feel they cut us a break. At all times we felt they wanted us to get a fair deal and we wanted them to make a decent living. This is not a company looking for the quick and easy jobs to make a buck. If they were, our job sure wasnt it!nnThe houses turned out beautifully. Soft velvety brown gray.nnSaylor staff were:n- Curious to even try this Lifetime Wood Treatment.n- Intelligent to suss out all the pitfalls. For example, we carefully tested amonia, vinegar, bleach, oxyclean and lemon juice to witness the effects. We also tested effects of Lifetime on concrete, pavers, etc); Lots to learn about what to use to clean houses next year or to wash windows.nn- Patient to deal with our concerns.nn- Transparent in their billingnn- Everyone consistently worked hardnnWe moved to Eugene and built two small houses with two different builders; hired 3 excavators; experienced or considered 6 painting companies; had contractors out to repair sewer pumps, gutters, downdrafts, gas leaks, tile and more. Out of the 4 year extensive and intense experience, there are 3 individuals/contractors we highly recommend. Saylor is one of them.nnThe City of Eugene is fortunate to have them.

Saylor painting painted our kitchen cabinets. We went from maple cabinets to green on the lower and white on the uppers. They did a fantastic job!! I was amazed how well they turned out! They look and feel like brand new cabinets.
