Anytime Fitness

I joined this gym over a year ago because I was working in Terre Haute Indiana. I travel around for work a lot so I joined here. They said you can use any of the Anytime Fitness gyms throughout the country after a month. WRONG! I tried using it at 3 anytime fitnesses in New York and didn’t work at any. So I called them up and they oh we will fix it, not once not twice but 3 times. So I was frustrated and decided to try to cancel my membership. I called asking to cancel my membership and they said I can’t do this right now I’ll have my manager get back to you. So I waited and waited. Still nothing I called again the same thing happened. Now this is the third time I called and I finally got a person to email and I had to state why I am canceling my membership. Surprise surprise I have waited for over 2 weeks and still nothing back. If this is the only gym you go to it’s not bad but for $45 a month there are so many better gyms than this. I am extremely disappointed in this Anytime Fitness I expected a lot more. Terrible with customer service. Don’t even think about wasting your money here!

If you refer a friend they will promise you a free month, then just won’t give it to you. 2 months later you call and ask for a refund, since you’ve been owed a free month since May, they say they’ll give you one, and then just don’t return your calls. Got charged again this month too. Gym is great if you never need customer service. Had one of the managers tell me she tells the owner to put in for free months and he just doesn’t. If I could give it zero stars I would. Go to Planet Fitness for a cheaper and hassle free experience.

Great place to work out. Enjoyed a visitor pass to check it out. All equipment is new and in workable order. All equipment is kept clean with plenty of cleaning supplies throughout the facility. Plenty of stations to workout all muscle groups without getting into each other's way. And, a convenient location.

Clean, good staff, secure. Not too busy. Equipment is fixed in a somewhat timely manner. Place is crazy humid during the winter months.

Fasciitis was clean. Guy at desk friendly but I’m pretty disappointed. I’m visiting and was used to a place that had treadmills with an interval setting on them and without that my workout is a struggle I was also expecting a tanning room and showers. The least accommodating AF I’ve been to unfortunately
