I came here fully intend on buying a specific vehicle. I met up with RC and I could not have had a greater car buying experience. He answered all my questions and ensured I got the exact car I wanted. He was patient, kind, easy to talk to and extremely knowledgable about the vehicle and the car buying process. I've been driving German vehicles my entire adult life and I can say without a doubt I'll be back to buy another car from RC in the near future.

Two negative experiences:n1. Was interested in buying a GolfAllTrack. Staff could not tell me that the vehicle was no longer available in the US. Kept sending me regular Golf vehicles. Had to contact VW as D-Patrick’s website is not customer friendly as well as their staff. Decided to change to a Tiguan and, as using VW credit, this dealership changed the selling price by $3,575. When asked, rudely informed that since not using local financing, they have to change the promotions. So they are listing prices online at one amount and then changing if not using their banks. So decided to me keep my old Passat.n2. regretfully called the dealership today, Nov.20th, to inquire about getting an oil change. They informed me that Dec. 4th is the first appointment. It takes three weeks to get an oil change...what kind of service is this? Thank goodness I didn’t buy a vehicle from them. Couldn’t imagine if something went wrong and would be waiting for weeks for service.nnOverall experience with this dealership is substandard. Found out after moving here...do not own a VW in Evansville.

So happy to be a proud owner of a new 2020 Passat. Chad is very knowledgeable and works very hard. I never felt like we were pitted against him during the negotiation process—I would say Chad was more of a facilitator. We let him know a price point and he worked with us to make it possible.

I purchased a 2019 Jetta in October. Went to turn the AC on when it started to warm up outside to find out that it blows hot air. Took it to D-Patrick VW dealership. They tell me there is a hole in the AC condenser which voids the warranty because it’s “Damaged”... I paid extra and got a 150,000 mile warranty... they are trying to charge me $1700 to replace it. THE PART IS LESS THAN $100! the condenser is behind the bumper. There’s nothing I could have done to damage it. This is the dirtiest thing I’ve ever had happen to me. I have a 2 year old that rides with me to work for an hour one way. I bought a brand new car with a warranty because I cannot afford repairs. This is just cruel to charge someone nearly $2000 for something that should have worked to begin with and should be covered under warranty. I really liked my VW too... first one I ever owned. And I guess it’ll be the last.
