Energy Design installed a Tesla Wall Connector in my garage. They were responsive, professional, friendly, and skilled. The electrician also made a follow-up visit when there was an issue (which turned out to be a firmware issue with the device). The invoice came in below the estimate.

ENERGY DESIGN installed an additional solar panel array and did a great job under challenging conditions along with high expectations from me. And they also did everything needed to make it all happen relatively quickly with a demanding customer, from their getting all the required paperwork filed to working with me to schedule and coordinate the actual installation. Their highly qualified crew did the work over a 3-day period, completing their work in my attic for that wiring segment, upon my request, all on the same day, too. Installed 4.8 KW system 2 years ago and are generating over 75% of our electrical needs over that time. Energy Design was great to work with and very responsive to questions we have had since. Very pleased!

Energy Design designed and built a stand-alone off grid-system for me, which included a 7,200 watt PV solar array. This was a technical project and had to be completed in a tight timeline. The owner, Vince, has been very thorough, professional, and spent a great deal of time explaining the system design and function. They kept to their timeline, did outstanding work and kept within their budget. They are responsive and reasonable. You really come to see that they do this work because it's what they love. I can't recommend them highly enough. Vince always puts me at ease: he takes care of the details and will do the right thing!

The people at Energy Design were thoroughly professional. They gave me clear information about what was and was not possible. They were able to work with my 2nd floor (converted attic), adding the necessary supports to make the engineers happy. The panels were placed appropriately. The electrical inspector who came to review their work was impressed - said it was very well done. Their skill made it possible for the installation to take place in a timely way, and at the budget that I expected. They came in under the bid of another well-known Portland home remodeling company, despite the fact that Energy Design used higher quality components. I am very satisfied.
