It's really a nice trail. I do wish that in order to make the full loop you didn't have the gravel portion. It will always be special to me after getting to see a black bear and cub while hiking it on April 10th this year.
Beautiful scenery, great place to hike and get away.
Beautiful, nice easy, clean, wide, trails, that 2 horses can ride side by side on. Very well maintained.
Great paths, if it's raining the gravel road is nice. Otherwise very nice stroll. Be prepared for ticks this time of year
Low traffic, nicely maintained trails. However, at certain parts of the year, like any other forested area, there are plenty of ticks. Occasionally, you'll see some snakes. But, it's a great place to run, walk, and/or hike in Perry County. It's a must go on those 50-70 degree days along with Indian/Celina and Tipsaw.
