Planet Fitness

This is a great gym. I've been training there for over a year now and, after traveling and visiting other locations, this is by far the best. The staff is great, fun and caring. But as other reviewers said, the trainer, Noah, is just outstanding and makes this location stand out from any other Planet Fitness. He is actually a real trainer, with knowledge and attitude/aptitude. He has a holistic approach to getting you at your best: nutrition, what kind of workout you need to achieve your goals or how to avoid injuries through a corrective approach to your training. And, if you want his help to looking like a weight lifter, he can do that too. Although usually those who train that hard believe they know everything, long time customers understand he is the person to reach to make sure you are up to date with new research and routines. He takes his job as if he was responsible for all the customers to get the best experience. I would highly recommend to ask for his service before a more exclusive gym gets a hold of him. You would have to pay a lot to have a trainer like him, and it's free with your membership!

I had surgery in June, called to cancel my membership was told I needed to do it in person, so I went in, signed the papers, and to my knowledge, was done. Until Today! Planet Fitness charged me with a $39.99 fee; I called told the guy on the phone that I canceled my membership in June of this year and asked that I be refunded my money. He says it was just frozen, not canceled and that he can't refund my money, but as a courtesy to me, he would go ahead and cancel my membership over the phone! (Mind you, this could NOT be done in June when I had just had surgery and I had to hobble in on crutches and sign these papers.) I told him that I would appreciate him canceling my already supposed to be canceled membership, and I wanted the number of his supervisor so I could speak to someone about getting my money back. This guy tells me, I can't give you any of his information bit I can shoot yours along, and he can decide whether you do or don't get a refund. WHAT!? Are you kidding me!? I guess it's a good thing I'm not dependent on this money and not in any hardship with this pandemic since planet fitness not only takes it from your account but doesn't allow you information to contact anyone, and you may or may not get it back. 1-star planet fitness!

I have been coming to this gym on and off for many years. Typically it is a great place to work out for me with its affordability and low commitment. I went back today for the first time since March and I was very disappointed with my experience. Almost no one was wearing a mask inside the facility (with the exception of myself, one other person I saw, and the employees). I understand that masks are not required when actively working out. However, almost everyone that I saw walking around was not wearing one. They essentially just wore them through the door. I wore my mask through my 30 minute cardio workout and all of my sets on the weighted machines. It was no big deal. I would much rather wear a mask than put others at risk of infection. I wish others felt the same. Overall, I would say coming here is VERY HIGH RISK. The staff needs to do a much better job at enforcing the state mask mandate. It is putting other club members and our community at risk.

Love using planet fitness. I've been to work out twice since reopening after the pandemic hit, including going tonight. They are very good with social distancing, they have every other workout machine blocked off and they do a great job of going around and disinfecting. Masks are required WHEN YOU'RE NOT on a machine. Great place to workout!

I love this place, love that everyone wears a mask when off equipment. Ive never had an issue with people not wearing mask. Staff is on it if they are not wearing one walking around!
