It's survived the winds of history. Almost 400 yrs it's stood!
Very cool place
My family watches HGTV, A show called Good Bones. On one if there shows, they talked about this tree. I wanted to see it, and learn it's history, and origin. I think it is a beautiful tree.
Completely awe-struck by the size and beauty of this Burr Oak. Glad it could be preserved for all this time.
Amazing to see the history of the growth of this created beauty. You look up and to any direction and see the scars of time that this tree has endured.
