When a guard takes a phone number and says I will call you he actually lies. I checked in 40 min early. Waitted outside on a street. My appointment time came and no one called. I had to walk back in to the guard. Place is tight. Trailers parked in front of the docks. You need safety vest in order to check in. Good luck.
I must have got there on a good day. Had 2030 appt got door at 1930 was empty in 10 minutes. Did take over an hour to get paperwork. Was gone by 2100. Very unusual for food whse. Especially Kroger. Think I was just lucky.
DO NOT PULL INTO DRIVEWAY! Must park on street, walk up to guard shack to check in!nReceiving for live unloads are normally by appt only, and FCFS in that appt time. Will only take you early if there is an open spot.nSome dock doors are a little tight.nPrepare to be here a while. If it’s fast, you’ll be pleasantly surprised, and if it’s not, you expected it.
Grate space to spend time , bring your food with you , told your family you gonna miss them
Kroger needs to hire people with communication skills at the security check in both at the gate. Seems like it gets busy and workers at the gate give attitudes to drivers checking in and trying to just get information on procedures. If they hate their jobs then find a new one don't ruin someone else day because you hate your life. Kroger management please address this issue. Thank you.
