Found exactly what I was looking for

The area is pretty bad, but love the new lot, and the employees have always been very nice. One even walked out with me to make sure I was safe because some guy tried coming up calling at me when all I wanted was to get a water and some cheap ear buds and on with my day without dealing with some guy thinking hollering at me is some way to get a woman.

This store was so disorganized and dirty. The only reason they got 2 stars from me is because the clerk was nice; but other than that, I was not pleased.

Customer Service? What's that? The gentleman that rang up my purchase did not greet me, tell me what my total was, quote my change, or say thanks or have a nice day. He stood there and sang/rapped/ talked on a Bluetooth headset (not sure which of these it actually was) the entire time. He barely even looked at me and didn't even speak to me at all. I stood aside to watch the next transaction, and the same thing happened. Employee did not seem to be well groomed either. Totally disgusting store front. Littered with trash, cigarette butts, and carts in every direction. The inside wasn't much cleaner. Great job Family Dollar! (Sarcasm)
