Ordered Bistec. Really good!
Actual authentic Cuban food, in Indiana! Came down from Lafayette to try the sandwiches and was not disappointed. As a fantastic bonus, the sandwiches were not messy to eat at all and were easily consumed in the car. Fast service, lovely people, and an adorable restaurant. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Indy!
Although we were the last two in the store, the owners friendly conversation made us feel welcomed and unhurried. He explained menu items, cracked jokes, and gave us a glimpse into his culture.nnWe ordered a classic Cuban Chicken Sandwich and a Vegetarian platter, with rice, beans, veggies, and plantains. Both were delicious, and, although I'm no culinary expert, tasted authentic.nnWe will be returning, and highly recommend at least trying Taste of Havana.

If you’re looking for something different but don’t want it to be out of your realm then I high suggest Taste of Havana. Amazing food. And their home made hot sauce is great
