First class academy. The instructor was knowledgeable and communicated the techniques well.

I dropped in and trained for a class while travelling for work. There was a very hospitable, and welcoming atmosphere. The instruction from Marcello was excellent. Everyone I rolled and drilled with showed excellent technique and proficiency. Very tough competitors and confident in their skill set, all while showing great respect for their training partners. If you are looking for a top quality gym to train at in the Indy area, I strongly recommend this gym. Marcello and Jonathan appeared genuinely invested in their students' progress. I don't feel you could go wrong making the choice to train here!

In my opinion..best instructors in the US. Marcello was amazing, humble and although you can Never perfect the art, he is about as close to perfection that I have ever encountered

I trained at Professor Marcello Monteiro’s academy for 6 years. I recommend visiting the academy. I now live in Texas and have yet to find an academy that provides the quality and experience I received from training with my BJJ family at Marcello’s.nWith several black belts now at the academy and highly level lower ranks it is a perfect place to learn and grow. Each and everyone of the students there are hard working and friendly. They will push you to be the best you can be. I trained at other gyms in Indy and just never found anything comparable to the BJJ coach atmosphere.

Great coaches and great people. Jon is very helpful and is a great coach. He understands each individual and how to specifically teach them as well as teaching the class as a whole. It's a great place to join.
