Great place for to remember those who gave life for others. I lost one of my friends on this day in Trade Center One in 2001, so this memorial is a very special place in Indianapolis to me. At this day, they are trying raise additional funds for an extension of this memorial. Go to the website for this memorial for more information if interested. Take time to stop by and see this place. I think you will go away a greater appreciation for 9/11/2001

I was part of the escort from Richmond to Indianapolis it was very rainy day but it was my honor to be part of History that should've never happened.

I happened upon this memorial while walking the canal. It is a very well done tribute to 911 and the World Trade Center. The beam that the eagle is on as well as the others are actual beams from the World Trade Center.
