So, I was looking for a barber about a year ago, went to a few places and it was just okay, not fantastic. Then last year at the Yelp event Drew approached me and told me a bit about Black Orchid and I was like “well why not”. Went in for a haircut and never looked back. Black Orchid has been amazing, Drew is awesome and ALWAYS gives a great cut. I’ve also been to Tanner and he was fantastic as well! I would 10000% recommend anyone go here. SUPER accepting place and wonderful people. I’m so glad I gave them a shot and you should too. You won’t walk away disappointed.
I have had my hair cut by Jason for 3 1/2 years, and all I have to say is that he is by far one of the best barbers I've known. Always great to catch up on life and city events all while getting a great cut. Every barber at black orchid is very knowledgeable about hair styles and give great advice on how what products to use for your type of hair.
If you're looking for a relaxing haircut, then the Black Orchid Barber Lounge is the place to be! The vibe in the lounge is just pure bliss! Great music selection playing and Classic Movies playing in the background! Jason Kraus always gives top a notch cut!
This place is perfect! If you’re looking at getting a change they suggest you the best options, also I really liked my hair styled by @tannercuts, he is simply amazing! Looking forward to my next visit, Go get yours!!
Drew did an amazing job with my haircut!! I’m very very picky with how my hair looks and since moving to Indianapolis I have yet to find someone that cuts it the way I like it, well up until yesterday, I went in, showed him a picture of the exact look I was going for and he killed it!! Drew is, hands down, definitely the guy who can do it and I will be going back to Black Orchid for my haircuts from now on!!
