Cannonball was served in under 5 minutes

I went to Mo’s last week with my sister the experience was less than desirable. With the new COVID rules we were stuffed in a corner with no view of the bay, and no attention from our waitress. Our food was so inconsistent, the halibut was under cooked and chips were over cooked. The shrimp skewers were over cooked and rubbery. Mean while we didn’t see our waitress from the time our food was dropped off until the bill was brought and once the bill arrived I promptly paid it. But the bill with the cash sat on the table for 10 minutes before anyone came by. After the bill was paid she came back and brought my change and asked how everything was. I told her about the food and her reply was well if you said something sooner I could take care of it for you. She then got the assistant manager on duty, he came over and apologized and asked us to give them another shot. He gave me a gift certificate for dinner for two with an unlimited value. So here we are today, We decide to use the certificate, and unfortunately We will never be back to this place. We sat at our table by the front door for over 5 minutes before we stopped one of the 6 workers standing around and asked for drinks. Once we received our drinks our waitress came over and took our order. My husband and myself both ordered soup and an entree. After the awful greasy food was delivered we didn’t see the waitress again till she dropped off the bill. No napkins, no drink refills, no nothing, but pay me. I presented her with the certificate and she then told me that everything would not be covered because it was only for entrees. Even though the certificate said unlimited. The manager then came out and told me I was wrong they never comp all the food and that it would only cover the entrees, as if they have to do this often. I told her I would never be back and to do what she needed to do I we could leave. She then came back with a bill and said my waitress would be back to take it. Ten minutes later nothing. Freaking crickets at my table. Mind you there are still 6+ employees just standing around. My husband then came in asked to speak to the manager and asked why the certificate said unlimited if it does not mean unlimited. She just kept saying it only covered the entrees. He then told her we would never be back (as someone who frequently comes to Florence) she was perfectly fine with it. And as he was coming back to get us from the table she then walked over and told us to get out. I’m not sure how this place even has three stars and it needs to be negative 5. We will never go to Mo’s again and highly recommend no one else goes as well.

If you go in before the noon time one week days the wait is much less but I would say wait if you have to. The clam chowder is as good as the hype says. I have been going to Mo's since I was a child and still really enjoy it.

I was going to eat there but they had like a 55 minute wait and I'm diabetic and I couldn't wait that long but other than that Moses has the best seafood
