Paved and non-paved woodsy trails that go by a river/stream. Park is very clean. Pet friendly, bike friendly, family friendly. Enough room on trails for social distancing. 2 playgrounds (1 is for the younger kids) well kept. Several picnic areas are large.

Nice clean local park to walk and have picnics. Portable restrooms spread around the park. Walking trail going around the perimeter and through the middle of the park. Great place to take a walk and get some exercise.

Mid August 2020:nThis park has a very good selection of paved and unpaved trails. The paved trail is 2.5 miles long. The unpaved trails are decently maintained and is a very, pretty Forest Trail that is roughly two miles long if you do all the loops.. None of the trails are super long but the whole park seems to be very well maintained. Also seems like a very good place to ride your bicycle if you wish.nnUpdate November 2020:nTook another walk today. Late afternoon, was warm for the season. Lots of people enjoying the weather. We did the loopin the other direction than last time.

Nice park but a very poor decision to have the tables directly under the acorn trees. Several of them fell on our table, hitting our phones. Also the table next to us had a special needs child and they were feeding through a g-tube while this was all happening. I'd encourage you to move the tables if at all possible, and maybe plant some other type of trees that do not try to take you out while sitting down!!

Beautiful park with lots of shade and shelter. Walk or hike the trails out to buck Creek and wade in the clear water. There are paved walks as well for bikes, strollers, etc. You can fish the pond by the welcome center or take the kids to either of two playgrounds depending on age and skill. Tons of green space even on really busy days.
