South Jetty RV & Camping Resort

This location is really nice. There is cell service with Verizon and most places can pick up WiFi. The park rangers are very friendly and willing to answer any questions you’ve got. The park is undergoing some remodeling. I asked to be close to a bathroom and the ranger put me literally right next to the C Loop Bathroom. The only downside here was that the water pressure was awful and half the park didn’t have electricity so I couldn’t do my laundry.

We had a great stay. The park was nice and the people were great! Great location for access to the sand dunes.

I have come to Florence for the better part of 30 years but have never stayed at this campground until this last weekend. We stayed 3 nights and had a great time. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The sites we ok size for our RV and amenities were limited because of covid, but not a big deal.nnThe only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that it is a first-come, first-serve reservation system. You pick your spot upon arrival, and hope you can be next to friends, and especially hope that the site is big enough for your RV. Luckily we got spots together with friends, but I can imagine the disappointment if we didn't.nnAgain, the staff was great, the location is fantastic for the beach and close to town. I'm sure we'll be back in the future.

Very poor customer service! I had a trip planned and they called the day before my arrival to say they had a water main leak. Was up to me if I still wanted to come down to a cabin with no water. I called other places but nothing was available. We decided to go ahead and go at a discounted rate. After a 4 hour drive and a day out on the dunes we arrived to campground around 7:30 to check in. No one was at office, so we buzzed the ranger. He came up and was very nice but obviously hammered. My reservation was canceled by the park so he had to call up another ranger. After 45 mins of back and fourth they rented me the cabin for one night so we could at least get some sleep. As my son was unloading the park manager named Tamny came in hot and said we had to leave and could not stay. We paid and were rented it but she threatened to call cops if we didn't leave. Well we left and drive home another 4 hours. I do want to say the 2 rangers were both super nice. It us the power hungry Tammy that was the big problem. I will never stay at this place again. Be warned!

Best Thousand Trails we've experienced. Amazing staff and service. Gorgeous location in the heart of the central coast. Tammy is incredible; truly cares about every aspect of her park.. So caring and professional... All parks should be so lucky!nnAbsolutely love it here. Thank you for many exceptional experiences.
