While on vacation in eastern Oregon we found a unexpectedly good restaurant, Ed’s Fast Break Grill.nIt’s located at the truck stop at the edge of town.nWe’ve eaten there for several meals.nThe food was always fantastic and plenty to fill the belly. We’ve never left hungry.nWe have ordered specialty hamburgers, chili burgers, chili cheese tater tots, all the way to their chicken fried steak. Also have tried thencherry wonderfully delicious. Just to make sure we didn’t miss our veggies we have ordered chef salads.nnAs for service upon entering the restaurant we were quickly greeted and shown to a table by a lady wearing a mask, however we could hear the smile in her voice.nI believe her name is Margaret. She has been our waitress for several visits. Always doing doing a great job.nnAlways clean and well maintained. A comfortable environment.nnThe only downside is it closes at 9pm which is an oddity for a truck-stop/travel-center.nIf you’re going thru eastern Oregon on Hwy 20 it’s a preferred stop.
Surprisingly fantastic! Very generous portions, good coffee, HUGE MENU of just about anything you want. Kitchen isn't afraid to run out of premium ingredients so get in early if you want their Eggs Benedict. This place is a hidden gem.
The food was great. But if you believe in the science of Covid19 you might think twice before eating here...Not a single mask being worn by waitress or cook...It seems rude to have someone spreading there germs on my food...It makes me feel like they don't care about me as a customer

Showers and bathrooms being remodeled for a very long time. Have 5 showers. Couldn't leave one to use while remodeling others??? All bathrooms sameway. Have to use a port a pottie. Whoever decided it was a good idea should be fired. Can't even wash your hands. We have a pandemic and can't wash our hands! Fire the person that did this! Workers are nice. Limited food choices. They don't have the foods on the menu. Could be so much better. Very Sad!!!
