Islamic Society of North America - Plainfield Mosque

I used to pass by this mosque and pray in it while I was on my way to Terre Haute coming from Indianapolis in the late eighties.

It's very relaxing and peaceful in this house of worship, with a history of peace loving community from all around Plainfield and adjoining araeas of Indianapolis.

Took a school field trip of about 100 middle schoolers to learn about the religion and beliefs. Very informative and welcoming to students with lots of questions. Broadened many minds today!! Thank for the openness, hospitality and authentic learning experience for our students.

This is the headquarters of the biggest Islamic organization of North America. The building is house to many offices and staff which is engaged with national activities. The leadership is welcoming, inclusive and helpful especially Dr Saeed and Sr Ali.nnThe local community has access to conduct all the programs of a Masjid such as daily Salah, Jumuah, Eid prayers, Ramadan activities such as Tarawih and Iftar.nnThey have abundant parking and access.

Easy to get there, very nice peoples in the community, a lot of halal restaurants nearby
