I have been going to Tara for years. She knows her stuff.

Today I parted with tara after over 2 years of going to her over safety concerns. Disappointing.

Worst experience ever! Tara did not do my hair how I asked. When I told her I didn’t like my hair, she took it personally and had a mental breakdown and started screaming at me and berating me for 10 minutes straight. She was verbally abusive and had a temper tantrum was throwing objects in the back room. It was only her and I in the studio so I recorded the entire thing. 0 star rating needs to be an option, because that is a reflection of this experience.nnThe most abusive and unprofessional experience I have had. Very uncalled for. As a professional, if you are upset with a client, ask them to leave. Do not have a temper tantrum and scream at your client for 10 minutes because they didn’t like how the hair turned out. This woman called me names and told me I need medication. Horrific words and screams came from her mouth. It was very awkward and so I ended up leaving with hair dye still in my hair.nn10/10 would never recommend. Unless you want to be verbally abused and screamed at for saying you didn’t want your hair that way. Maybe if she was t on her phone the entire time screaming at her kids and husband and dogs in the salon then she would have listened to how I wanted my hair.nnPlease, find yourself a professional hairdresser who knows how to do hair and treat clients with respect. If you are looking for a place in Plainfield, I recommend The Look. Tara is amazing! I’ve gone to her for body massages. A perm. And other beauty services! I highly recommend Tara. The salon is always clean and presentable as well.
