We stayed in Roseburg for 4 days and we ordered food from this place thrice. The food was amazing and Indian desserts were finger licking. We also ordered dishes which were not on the menu ahead of time and they would prepare it. One of the dishes we ordered not on menu was jalebi and it is a must have. I highly recommend this to anyone crossing Roseburg or to even take a small detour for this place.

High quality food at an affordable price. I've eaten in authentic Indian restaurants in Chicago and Houston. This is one of the best!

This place is pretty delicious, but I have one complaint: the chicken is always a little tough and dry in the curry, which is understandable because they use chicken breast. I make Indian curry with chicken breast often, and there is a way to get around the dryness, no matter how long it cooks and simmers in the sauces. You can either soak the chicken pieces in a salt water brine for a while before rinsing and cooking (this breaks down the protein fibers and makes the meat more tender) or you can do what the Chinese restaurants do to make their chicken breasts tender: silk the chicken by letting it rest in a cornstarch water mixture. Those are my two secrets. You should try them out! They will improve your food vastly. My fiancé also mentioned that the chicken is tough and dry on his own which is what I thought last time I ate here. I‘m sure everyone notices. Luckily, it’s a simple fix.
