John Jones Auto Group Corydon

If I could this place would get zero stars. My 2014 Chevy Cruise was having problems starting. I had the battery and alternator checked by a mechanic and he said they were good. So I brought it to John Jones because I bought my car from there and had to drop it off after hours, so I called them the next day to let them know they don't have to check the two things I mentioned above. I told the secretary that works there since they were busy and she said they'd call me back. I never got a call back. After a day I called back and they said the negative battery cable just needed to be changed. This was free since it was under warranty, but they charged me for checking my battery. Exactly what I said not to check. I went ahead and paid this because I didn't want to deal with it. I got my car back to work and it died, AGAIN. I called and took my car back to John Jones and they told me the next day to pick up my car that NOTHING was wrong with it. It started up every time. So the woman went out to start my car and it didn't start. Finally they agree that something is wrong with it. After a couple days they tell me it needs a new cluster and the price to have this replaced. The price was outrageous but then and again every dealership marks up their prices sky high. I got quotes from other places, but went ahead and went with John Jones because my car was already there. After I told them to order the part it took over a week to arrive. Then when it arrived I called and they said my car would be ready that day. I called two days later and they said the mechanic just forgot about my car. Terrible terrible customer service. The man who was helping me along the way wasn't that nice. I didn't get any sort of discount for the whole ordeal I was put through. My car ended up being there for three weeks. I will never ever come back to John Jones....they were so great when I purchased my car but this was the worst experience I've ever had trying to get my car serviced.

The folks at the Service Center are awesome. They spent 1/2 the day working on extended warranty problems for me. They proved all customers are important no matter the monetary level of the visit. 5 Star rating for a 5 Star group.

I very much appreciate the excellent service at Corydon GM service department. The recent repairs to my 2016 Chevy Cruze, purchased at John Jones, was thoroughly investigated and completed. It is a wonderful feeling to know I can trust and depend on the service techs and advisors to provide the best possible service. I bought my car from Wade there about 2.5 years ago and it was an amazing no pressure experience! I bought the additional 3 year warranty from the dealership and never had an issue or needed to use, til this week. Their service department has been incredible especially Beth!! They helped me get in touch with Charlie’s for towing and my warranty covered the repairs! Any future vehicles will be bought from them and will always get the additional warranty!
