Turtle Run Winery

I ordered a bottle of Traminette online and really enjoyed the experience! My husband and I are slowly trying a bottle of wine from each state, so we've ordered a lot of wine online. I appreciate that Turtle Run provides a lot of information on their website and I could find numerous articles and interviews about them so I had a good idea of what I wanted to order. Not only was the wine great and nicely packed for transport, but I also received a very sweet handwritten note and a winery brochure. I love the personal touch to an online order!

Out of our favorite 2 wines this time, but should be back in two weeks or so. Still found 1 we liked. You will not be disappointed!

Stumbled upon Turtle Run Winery via some Googling & decided to check it out while in Southern Indiana a couple weekends ago. We did the wine tasting and it was an awesome experience. Between the wine itself and the conversation with Jim, we could not have asked for a better experience. If you're in Southern Indiana and like wine even a little bit, this is a must do!

This is a great hidden gem of southern Indiana! Set back from a main road it has plenty of space to check out. The patio is a nice space with some tables. I was told they do love music during the weekends and people can bring picnic supplies (no outside booze though) to hang out and enjoy the music. They have a wide selection of wine and I love that the wine list designates what % of the grape composition is grown onsite. I always try to lean towards something farm to bottle at a winery. My brother likes sweeter wines while I prefer dry but we were able to settle on Robins Revenge which was the perfect balance. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great day out of the house.nnOnly thing that caught me off guard is that they okay sounds of predictor birds in the vineyard. It sounds like you’re pulling into Jurassic Park! Oh well, makes a fun conversation topic and will defiantly be a memorable feature. Get used to it quickly on the patio.nn$5 for 8 tastings of wine? Can’t go wrong!

Always a great experience for our family. Bring your own food to cook on their huge grill, enjoy a live band and a bonfire. Not to mention some great local wine!
