First time at this park, I had time to burn before visiting someone in the area and was early in the morning and wanted to find some place I could park. So I googled parks in the area and saw it was open and nearby. I enjoyed the park more than expected and spent hours more there than expected. I love nature with all the geese and ducks, water and sporting courts there was so much more to do there than other parks I've been to as a kid. If you are ever in the New Albany area this is a must stop at place before the geese and ducks take off for the winter type of place! It has a cemented walkway around the water, watched people feed the animals, could not help, but laugh when a little girl ran from the ducks and geese saying they gonna eat me as they ran for the food that her parents threw on the ground for them. It has basketball court, tennis court, volleyball area and a very dog friendly area. Another thing I enjoyed while their was seeing dog's of different kinds and sizes as I missed my 2 dogs I had left with family back home because was first time in the area and was a spontaneous trip.

Very nice park. A lot of space so you don't feel like if you're having a gathering you don't feel like everyone is so close of another family is having a gathering. A lot of options with the kids park, tennis courts, basketball good and grills. Very clean also. I like any park that has water.
