Beautiful area and park but the trails don't seem to be maintained at all. I've been to this park a few times but every time I go and it doesn't seem to matter what season it is, the trails are full of trees that have fallen, there's no gravel on the vast majority of the trails which makes them INCREDIBLY muddy after a rain. Also like the other folks have said trail signage is poor and due to the almost non existent trail maintenance it can be somewhat difficult to find your way through the trails, an inexperienced hiker would have a tough time with some of it.

Beautiful park and the buildings and shelters are well kept. Free to reserve until 2pm makes it a great place to host Girl Scout events. Maintenance crew isn't very accommodating, even when you've had reservations for months, but for free we can work around just about anything!

Hiked their yesterday. Beautiful day. The trails need work. Lots of limbs over trail, and could be marked better. I kept wondering if I was still on a trail at times. It was pretty wet and muddy in places, but the thorn bushes are everywhere.

This place is very well kept and such a beautiful area. Definitely reccomend for anyone needing a place to have a get together or reception!!

Great place to bring the family for a nice nature walk or to do some fishing. You can even reserve the building for birthday parties and family get together free of charge.
