I must be on my visit in off season. Campsites are very spacious and it’s very quiet. At night it’s super dark though. Only reason I gave a 4 is no water hook ups. Bathhouses are not well kept if you planning on using them while there. But since I had no need for them this is just a warning for those who do neeid to use them. Fall colors in park are amazing!

Bathrooms were very dirty and not cleaned for while. Showers had no hot water and dirty. Park is nice otherwise.

Our campsite was very nice and exactly as described. There were definitely some issues though. We were in the back section, F. The potable water is community/communal spouts but RVs were hooking up anyway so others had to walk further for water. The quiet hours were also not enforced so music was loud until after 2 am. The biggest issue was the bath houses. There aren't enough for the number of campsites. As a result, they were pretty dirty and there was very minimal evidence of proper cleaning. It appeared that the cleaning consisted of replacing toilet paper, picking up large trash items and possibly wiping the counter, I'm not sure. There was still hair on the counter, some plastic bottle rings on the bathroom floor, hair ties on the floor of the shower room and mud still in the shower stalls. This would be disappointing any time, but with Covid-19 still active is was concerning. Luckily I brought my own wipes and cleaned everything before I used it. I had more time than anticipated to pay attention to the bath houses because we didn't use the beach as planned.nThe beach area was nice, but so crowded by midmorning there was no way to social distance so we didn't choose to use it. There was no attempt to control numbers of guests entering the park who weren't camping and only intended to use the beach and so it got even more crowded throughout the day.nI appreciated being able to get away for a couple of days, but was disappointed in how the park has responded to current health and safety concerns. That said, with the state of the bath houses, we would be unlikely to return even if COVID weren't a concern right now because there are so many parks that do a better job of cleaning.
