Do it....take the short drive from Nashville or the long drive from Indy to check this place out...it is W O R T H I T!!!! We thought this was the best meal of our life. It was so flavorful bit simple and beautiful.nnWe were told about this place from a local while visiting Brown County/Nashville. We decided to give it a try. We sat down outside to a simple menu and a few specials. The salad that came out was made with very fresh ingredients, that appeared to be homegrown locally or on the premises. Then to a beautiful steak and amazing Prime Rib. The baked potatoes and asparagus was killer too. We finished with a piece of homemade pie (homemade and the size of my hand). They had several other pies that are seasonal.nnWe are so thankful for this beautiful place. So thankful that we are doing it for dinner tomorrow. Try it out for yourself and I promise you will not be disappointed.

So severely disappointed! We visited last year to see the plants and never made it to the restaurant. Today, we made it to the tea house filled with so much excitement. The weather was delightful and we were seated upon arrival. However as soon as we were seated we had nobody serve us for about ten to fifteen minutes until the hostess apologized with water for everyone. Another twenty or so minutes passed until our waiter came without so much as a word. We placed our drink orders, twenty minutes passed, drinks came. The place had barely any other guests, all without food or beverages. When we were finally able to place our orders it was an hour until our food arrived, all coming out individually. I ordered just the peach cobbler since they were out of all their desserts and the thing was atrocious. Literally a slice of undercooked white bread with canned peaches underneath. No spices or sugar, one bite was more then enough. Sad to say it was not worth it, especially for the prices and lack of service. The atmosphere is stunning but the hospitality and food quality gets a 0.

Went today to do a carry out order... their gumbo - amazing, the curried chicken pasta salad not so much... I expected more curry flavor - the actual dressing was very bland and no curry at all in it ... the bed of lettuce was ok ... maybe I just expected more than some sliced grilled chicken with a little curried pasta and lettuce.. would not order again ... the gumbo.. yes, definitely ... this credit card machine down and it was a scramble to give them what little cash I had ... should have been informed prior to ordering.

This is hands down my favorite place to eat. The smells alone leave your mouth watering! I was fortunate enough to meet most of the staff and let me just say they're incredible. If you're anywhere in the Brown county area I highly recommend you pay them a visit.
