El Azteca Mexican Restaurant-Mahwah

Excellent place for Mexican food!!nAugust 26, 2020 grand opening of this great restaurant, everyone there is very polite, friendly and courteous!!! Even though it’s just for takeout only at the moment, their food is the best in the Mahwah-Suffern area.... and very delicious. Anything in their menu is rich in flavor, made fresh and not too greasy like in other places. My favorites, Steak Burritos and Pork Huaraches...! The main reason it’s because of their hand made tortillas...! Totally recommended...!

Food was good but to call in the service was very rude. I asked for the person who took my orders name simply to know for when I walked in , I would say “I spoke to so and so” just to get my order easier. She gave me the biggest attitude and said “For what!” “I dont need to give you my name” very disappointed. No attitude was necessary. Its typical business attitude to acknowledge who you’re speaking to. Be nice to your customers, we are paying.

The breaded chicken torta is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Food was ready so fast! Will definitely be back soon!

First time going in today and I would say the food was pretty good. I got the tacos from there but will be trying out different items next time. The sauces they include are perfect because they taste great and are the perfect spiciness. Jalapeño poppers are definitely something I would go just to get as a snack because they were really good. Will be returning for sure

great phone service by the young lady, I ordered today a steak burrito and also Carne Azteca with beans and rice. Absolutely good and alot of flavor. Definitely give this place a try, I'm trying more items off the menu tomorrow. Tacos are next!
