Twin City Supermarket - Newark NJ

Shop here only if you have to. If You have the chance to shop somewhere else, either you have a car or you know someone who willing to give you a ride TO GO TO ANOTHER SUPERMARKET, Then I recommend to go shop somewhere else. The vibe you got from this place is not good, some cashier are nice, while others are mean and rude. Security or police guy giving you constant bad looks. Shop somewhere else where they provide better service, and better prices. The prices here are ridiculously high. This is not the spot to shop.

This have to be one of the worst super market I've ever shopped at. First and foremost, the security or police guy is constantly giving you a bad look, while most of the employee assumes your are stealing. The prices are extremely high for even the most simplest food. I recomming to not shop here unless you live locally and have no car. Even that, the prices of corner store is super close to their price. If it's only a few stuff, get it at the corner store. Save Yourself the time.

Very rude!nI can’t believe I went in there to purchase anything! The cashier slammed my items which was fresh produce in my bag and then screamed “$10 minimum” to me as I was swiping my credit card. As I was switching my method of payment, I had to think if I wanted to continue with my purchase. I was so confused by her tone. Moral of the story if you don’t like your place of employment or the customers your serving do yourself a favor and quit!

This is my go to spot for fresh vegetables and fruit when my family and I am making a home feast. Staff is friendly and diverse. If you like eating and cooking Spanish food, this is your one stop shop.
