Fairmount Elementary School

I am only writing a review as seems as me speaking with the principal made no difference regarding school lunches. The 1st incident of where my son comes home letting me know he was given expired cereal from august of 2016, this was given to him in March of 2017. Of course he did not eat it because he reads the expiration dates. He was given cereal for lunch because i failed to pay for his lunch, i try to pay as much as i can when i can however their lunch department has a threshold of $10 and if not paid the child gets something that is not on their menu. I advised the principal of this of which she did her search and advised this will not happen again. Now my son comes home which is a 2nd incident of where my son tells me his class was given raw burgers. he indicated many in his class did not eat that day or given an option to eat something else being the burgers were uncooked. I ask that you please fix the lunches that are given to our children especially if we are paying for these lunches. No child should not been provided with lunch especially if it is a mistake on their behalf. No child should go all day without provided with an option to eat just because their account is over the threshold. FIX THIS ISSUE.

For me, the school is good.nIt all depends on the type of person you are and what type of teacher you have.nI had a great time there.

Fantastic teachers, a beautifully historical property, awesome communication with parents. The lunches and breakfasts are awful, but I send my child with home food, so that doesn't factor in with me so much.

Fairmount was a good experience for me , the teachers are very nice ❤
