My family and I went last night and per usual I was crazy and added surf and turf, which included salmon. As an avid fishing family, I feel we have perfected salmon, but for some reason I always order it when we go out and more often than not am disappointed. Not this time! The salmon had a perfect crust, full of flavor. Then the steak, again, perfect seasoning and cook. Mashed potatoes....perfection. My husband had the goulash which he loved, as did out 4 year old. Even my 18 month old are everything given to him. We go to Blue Heron often for brunch, which is always wonderful, but this was the first time in quite a while for dinner and was an amazing experience. FYI, try the caramel stout! It's super dark and super delicious!

This place is amazing! Everything was so fresh and 100% homemade. I got the Jägerschnitzel and my husband got the Wiener schnitzel, we also ordered their draft root beer, pumpkin and chocolate cherry cake. We’re not from around here but definitely would come back just because of this restaurant!

I've pretty much never rated a place before. But this establishment had some of the best food I've ever had. Highly suggest stopping by!

Food not up to the quality or taste of other german restaurants. WE had one shared dinner at $30.00 plus 2 glasses of wine, $12.00.. My friend had German Choc cake for free as it was his birthday. I had 1 cake. My bank was charged, $46.00, then $76, then had $46.00 removed. wine and dinner came to $50.00. Why was 1 piece of cake $26.00.nnIn response to the owners reply, we DID NOT have a 3rd glass of wine. We are not drinkers. This is an outright lie. We were never told of an unheard of split plate charge anywhere. MY BANK ALSO HAD ABOUT 5 CREDIT CARDS RUN THROUGHS POSTED TO THE BANK.
