Once Upon A Child

Brought two large bins, about 200 gently used pieces. They sifted through all of them and picked 20. I need storage space, so was hoping to get something for at least the majority of the items. But no, they don't take 6-9 months, because 'they have too many right now'. This could have been remedied by simply giving this information on their website in advance. For anybody with kids, you know how quickly clothes accumulate. So now have to spend double effort to donate to baby charity (Room to Grow), sell (Ebay), or Goodwill. It is all a lot of time.nnSo, generally, conclusion is - you do get something at a fair price for used items (about $1/item) and you do recycle, if you care about that. However, lack of information is discouraging. They also require specific folding/bin criteria, so budget for long prep time. I do plan to be back, but will call ahead of time to find out what they want.

I every time I come to this store, the employees plus the manager has poor customer service skills. I came to do a buyback today and there are 4 women behind the register and they aren’t assisting, they are just in their phones. They won’t take any items in bags but when you call the store, they don’t tell you that policy. I asked the manager where can I find a box or container, she was nasty and said she couldn’t help me and by the time I find a container of the sort my appointment time would be over ( my appointment was at 3pm and I arrive 20 mins early ). I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Today was my second time making an appointment to this store. If you are a person of color or not caucasian I do not recommend this place. The entire staff has an attitude and they whisper and gossip the entire time behind the counter without assisting the customers. They tell you to bring a bin but only “were able to take 25 items”. If that’s the case don’t have us bring tote containers! Also they rejected my all black stroller for a “stain” that it did not have. This place is RUDE, PREJUDICED, and NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! plus the USED items in this store are OVERPRICED! that’s why y’all have a bunch of high schoolers running your store. Smh waste of time and energy. DO NOT COME HERE!

This is such a great store.. Amazing people who have helped an unemployed momma during covid... This place is amazing

Wonderful store and concept. We took a bunch of old things and clothes and sold them here. We made decent money and on the way out we saw a changing table that was already built. It has held up great ! Very happy with this store.
