Please sign up your kid for summer camp at the Garfield YMCA if you want them doing nothing but sitting around and watching tv all day. Oh wait, they do get to go the basketball court to either play basketball or do NOTHING. They have a full day of no activities and have the privilege of helping the camp counselors do housekeeping (unless you think gathering the kids in a line to walk around the block in the hot sun twice as an activity). Absolutely no learning, no art projects and no swimming lessons will be done. There is a weekly schedule of activities planned for the campers but it will not be followed instead the kids will be bored to tears doing NOTHING. Good luck finding the camp director to speak to about the lack of activities and boredom that you payed your well earned money for. So do yourself a favor just send me your money and ill take better care of your kid.
