I love this park because I used to bring my baby since she was 5 months. Now she is 5 years and 8 month old and still taking her to the same park. It bring me great memories and it is a lot to do there.

Back beach park has access to Wanaque Ridge, when the river is low, via a low foot bridge. The trails lead to the pipeline and connect to the Appalachian near Ramapo Lake. Some excellent vistas and moderate ascents. But... black dirt.
