I had an amazing experience at the Dress Doctor. Due to COVID-19, I was unable to get my fitting until the last minute. I went to the Dress Doctor for my fitting one week before my wedding. The owners sister did my alterations and she was absolutely fantastic! I was a nervous wreck, not knowing if it was possible to get my alterations done in time. However, she made me feel comfortable and at ease by reassuring me that she would do whatever it took to get my dress ready on time. In one week, she did all the tailoring, and I had my final fitting the morning of my wedding. Everything looked perfect and I’m so happy with her work. She was a pleasure to work with, and did a high quality job. I highly recommend going to the Dress Doctor for the best experience. Planning any wedding is hectic! Especially when you decide to elope and get married overseas in less than 2 months!nnDress Doctor was an absolute blessing and miracle worker. I was so worried that my dress could not be altered in such a short time frame (it was rather long and big), but somehow Dress Doctor transformed my dress just in time for me to travel to Paris.nnThey were so sweet to work with and always greeted my family (my mother and grandmother) with open arms. I walked in to Dress Doctor a worried mess and left feeling (and looking) like a princess! I wish I had a before and after image to really justify how much work went into the alterations.nnNot only did Dress Doctor alter the dress to fit me, but Dress Doctor also added my belt to fit perfectly on the dress. Two years later, I’m still going back to get my bridesmaid dresses altered for my friend’s weddings. I can’t trust anyone else. They are the best! Thank you so much!!! I’m forever grateful!

I did not have a good experience at the dress doctor. When I arrived and checked in the at the front desk , I asked how much alterations would cost. The receptionist told me the seamstress would let me know after I put on the dress. I put on the dress , the seamstress identifies what areas need work and then walks away from me leaving me standing in front of the mirror for 30 minutes. During the wait the receptionist comes over and is assuring me that the seamless will be back shortly. I asked again what the price will be and the receptionist says “oh she will let you know”. When the seamstress finally returns to the floor , she walks by me and starts helping others. The receptionist had to ask her if she forgot about me before she came back over to chalk the hem line and pin up the sides she was going to take it. When the seamstress finished , I asked again for the price and she did not answer. After I got out the dress , I went back to the receptionist and asked for the price. Her response “ oh the seamstress didn't tell you ? It is going to be $300.00”. I was so upset and began inquiring why. The seamstress then walks over and tells the receptionist to take $50.00 off, totaling in $250.00 for a hem and to take in the sides of a bridesmaid dress.They overcharged me for the dress and it still does not fit properly. I will never go back to them for alterations.
