These are some of my favorite qualities about this gym:n1. The hygienic standards are noteworthy and more than meet the guidelines of CDC especially because the members are almost 10 ft apart in distance from each other, regulatory temperature checks, and sterilized equipment.n2. The coaches are extremely knowledgeable in their given fields of nutrition & Crossfit and are more than happy to answer any questions I've asked in length and detail despite my membership being standard. I can only imagine what type of training I'd receive if I supplemented my membership with extra training services the gym provides.n3. One of the owners is actually a coach at this gym. I only discovered this through passing despite taking an innumerable amount of his classes & it really shows the level of humility in this gym and his passion for Crossfit. I even heard that he gets coffee for his members before class, I have never experienced it as of yet so I don't know if I should make a list of the things I don't like....lol I'm Just Kidding ;)n4. Student Discount. I was previously loyal to Orange Theory for over 2 years and they didn't offer any similar discounts. I'm a student at Rutgers now but graduated from Bergen Community College. I think Orange Theory didn't give discounts to Community College students. This gym never asked what college I went to and accepted my status as a student regardless of whether or not the school I attend is at the Community or State level.n5. How my body feels after a class at this gym. Being accustomed to the OT, as I had previously mentioned, I was doing a lot of intense cardio. After my OT workouts I often felt very wired and I wasn't used to the weightlifting that this gym focuses on. The use of a bar was completely foreign to me. As my body started getting used lifting weights and supporting my body under a bar I felt more confident and aware of what the human body is actually capable of. Ex: I can feel my arms supporting my abdomen while it works to bring my knees to my chest. Also the experience of progress as I had worked towards in technique and the ability to put on more weight on the bar has really helped my self confidence. After a Crossfit class I feel more leveled than I did after a class at OT. Doing OT classes I constantly felt that I was battling weight gain to maintain my ideal weight in order to look a certain way. Doing Crossfit has completely changed my goal in working out by focusing on techniques so I can lift heavier. Although OT is back open & much closer to my residence but I'd rather travel a further distance to get the benefits of Crossfit than drive a shorter distance to attend a class provided by Orange Theory. I've also been a member of Equinox, TMPL, & Soul cycle in NYC and attended classes all over Manhattan. I find the benefits of CrossFit Guerrilla to surpass NYC level classes. TMPL, Equinox, Soul cycle, and Orange Theory are run like businesses that equates the individual member to the US dollar and the owners of these gyms I found are talked about by the members like some kind of entrepreneurial magnate/demigod that no one ever sees...So it was a really nice change to see a gym owner that actually teaches classes and actually has the passion & knowledge in regards to fitness & nutrition, and wants to see his members happy & progress in their goals.n6. My goal is to have a good work out but getting to know the good people that work to keep the gym clean & provide fitness services & classes for their members is a huge unexpected benefit.nTLDR; Reasons to join the gym: Sanitary standards that go beyond the CDC guidelines, indiscriminate student discounts, knowledgeable coaches & owner who answers all questions in lengths & detail regarding nutrition & fitness (or any question you have), an awesome owner who is actually passionate about Crossfit & makes an effort to develop a relationship with all members and treats his members like a person instead of a dollar, more beneficial to the body than other fitness memberships I've experienced, & amazing staff & coaches.

Guerilla fitness is such an amazing friendly supportive community , coaches are really dedicated to helping your goals who are also knowledgeable . Location is also maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness and well organized. I have experienced other fitness/gym locations nothing comes close to their staff knowledge and skill set!!

Recently visited Guerrilla in Paramus and met Joe, the owner. Firstly, I have never met a more genuine gym owner, or had a more welcoming experience, than I did when I walked into Guerrilla Fitness. The facility is HUGE and had all of the essentials. A class was in progress at the time and I got to watch... lots of energy and an age-diverse group which is a plus, and it looked so much fun! Needless to say, I'm coming back.

My wife and I go to Guerrilla CrossFit and we cannot be more impressed with this place. The staff is approachable, knowledgeable, and always makes sure everyone is working out safely. The gym itself is always very clean and smells good! Lastly, there is a sense of togetherness and support when you go to this gym. The workouts are challenging but not impossible. Anyone can do this!

So far the best gym I’ve ever been too. So clean. The staff is so professional. High End Equipment. Not disappointed at all!
